Relief Fund 

for Prophet Elias Church of Damascus, Syria

On June 22, 2025, evil struck the church of the Prophet Elias in Damascus, when a terrorist caused an explosion in the church. This horrifying tragedy claimed the lives of at least 25 of the faithful Orthodox Christians gathered that Sunday for the Divine Liturgy and injured 63 others.

The St. Mary’s community stands with the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America in mourning with our brothers and sisters in Damascus. As we prayerfully remember those martyred, those injured, and those who are rebuilding their lives in the wake of this devastating loss, we are also committed to providing financial support.

Your generous gift today will be sent to the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of North America to provide financial support to bereaved families who lost a loved one in the attack and those injured, as part of the “2025 Prophet Elias Church of Damascus, Syria Relief Fund.”
